«Another day of living without you…»

This phrase of the song If you hadn´t gone away (Si no te hubieras ido) by Marco Antonio Solís, widely known thanks to Maná’s cover from 2008, recalls the feeling of emptiness that we experience after the decease of a loved one. How meaningful can music be in moments of sadness. We listen to a song and we feel totally identified, believing that the lyrics are written for us. As if the Dutch singer Marco Borsato would have written these comforting words thinking about us: «Come as the wind that you feel and the rain. I follow you in everything you do like the moonlight. Search me in everything and you will find me. Whisper my name and I will be there». There is no such thing as saying goodbye (Afscheid nemen bestaat niet) makes us believe that that person who is gone will stay forever in our lives… Music expresses those feelings that are so hard for us to describe with words. We all have that special song, which moves us and reminds us of our loved one. Here we leave you with the version of Candle in the Wind by Elton John as a tribute to Princess Diana in 1997. To us, one of the best songs ever dedicated in memory of someone.
