Decorating with olive leaves

It has been a couple of seasons since the olive leaves began to stand out in the decoration of weddings. But I personally continue to love it and I think it will never go out of style.

They are simple and elegant and their symbolism dates back to ancient times. Did you know that the winners of the competitions held during the Panateneas festivals (where our name comes from) were given amphoras with olive oil? And the winners of the Olympic Games were also decorated with a braided crown with olive branches.

It is a very ours tree, very Mediterranean and for being of perennial leaf very economic for the decoration. For rustic, wild, elegant or avant-garde weddings. Olive leaves go well with all styles. And not only as part of the decoration or bridal bouquet –as it is very easy to combine with any type or tone of flower–, it is also great at stationery, bordering welcome signs or on hand-painted tableware. Beautiful, don’t you think?

Here I leave a selection of photos that I found in Pinterest as an inspiration.
